At Snyder Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electric, community involvement is at the heart
of everything we do. This year, we were proud to participate in Jacksonville’s Touch-a-
Truck event, hosted by Cox Media Group at the Brooks Family YMCA. The event
brought together families from across the city for a day filled with hands-on activities,
learning opportunities, and giving back.
A Day of Family Fun and Hands-On Experiences
From the moment the event started, our booth became a hub of energy and excitement.
Children and families gathered to explore our vehicle, spin the prize wheel, and learn
more about the work we do in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services.
Touch-a-Truck events are designed to give kids a close-up look at the vehicles they see
every day, and this year did not disappoint. From first responder vehicles to fun
attractions like a bubble truck, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Giving Back with A/C Tune-Ups and a Grand Prize Giveaway
One of the most popular attractions at our booth was the Snyder giveaway wheel. Attendees had the opportunity to spin for prizes, including free A/C tune-ups and entries into a full air conditioning system giveaway.
With Florida’s summer heat just around the corner, these giveaways are more than just prizes. They help families stay comfortable, improve system efficiency, and prepare their homes for the hottest months of the year. Seeing the excitement on participants’ faces with each spin made the experience even more rewarding.
Supporting the Community Through a Food Drive
In addition to the fun, the event also focused on giving back. Snyder was honored to
support the community food drive by providing a Snyder Jeep as the official donation
drop-off location.
The generosity of the Jacksonville community was truly inspiring. Families showed up
ready to contribute, and the steady stream of donations highlighted the strong spirit of support and care that defines this city.
Building Lasting Relationships with Our Customers
One of the most meaningful parts of the day was connecting with people. We had the
pleasure of reconnecting with long-time customers who have trusted Snyder Air
Conditioning, Plumbing & Electric for more than 30 years. We also met many new
families who were learning about our services for the first time.

us to strengthen relationships, answer questions, and show firsthand how we serve the
